Great Starts
Great Starts, launched in April 2024, is the city-wide platform designed to offer families a streamlined, simplified dashboard of all their childcare and early education options for children 0-5 in the City of Boston. The one-stop solution aims to provide families with a more complete picture of early education and care options available to them where they can learn about, explore, and apply to programs all in one place. Great Starts serves as the primary enrollment and registration portal for all BPS families with school age children.
To Boston families, Great Starts is a centralized search platform designed to simplify the process of finding childcare and schools because Boston families thrive when they can make informed choices based on their individualized needs.

Designed a flyer to share with the Boston community at large to announce the launch of Great Starts and teach families about the uses of the platform: learn about their childcare and school options, explore detailed program information, and apply—all in one convenient place.
Magnets
Developed a range of magnet designs to be distributed by the Mayor’s Office of Early Childhood, guiding families to Great Starts—the new one-stop platform for finding childcare and early education. These magnets serve as a valuable resource for new parents and families exploring options for their little ones in Boston. Some designs includes a QR code for easy access to essential information and resources on the Great Starts website.
